Erdogan meets al-Sharaa in Istanbul

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his Syrian counterpart Ahmad al-Sharaa, at Dolmabahce Palace in Istanbul.Anadolu Agency reported that the meeting was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Defense Minister Yasar Guler, Intelligence Director Ibrahim Kalin, and Defense Industries Directorate Chairman Haluk Gurgun.

The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities announced that the voter turnout percentages in the districts of the South and Nabatieh governorates were distributed as follows:Jezzine: 30.60%Hasbaya: 23.12%Marjeyoun: 20.40%Bint Jbeil: 17.38%Nabatieh: 25.83%Tyre: 22.66%Sidon: 25.96%

Syria Hands Over Mastermind Behind Pascal Sleiman’s Murder to Lebanon

Following contacts made by Lebanese Forces officials with the Syrian authorities, and further coordination by Lebanon’s Intelligence Directorate with the Syrian government, the latter handed over Ahmad Noun to the Lebanese authorities.Ahmad Noun is the leader of the gang that kidnapped and killed Lebanese Forces official Pascal Sleiman last year.With Noun’s handover, alongside the four detainees, all the elements needed to uncover the truth in Sleiman’s assassination case are now complete.
