Story Line

Rafqa, a documentary from the Holy Lebanon series, tells the story of the Lebanese Maronite nun, Rafqa Al-Shubq Al-Rayes. A journey of struggle and prayer, pain and hope, heroism and light that imbued Petriya, the daughter of Hamalaya, with holiness, so that, by the power of Christ, her soil became healing. The documentary was prepared and executed by Elie Ahwash, directed and edited by Youssef Bou Nafi.
